H-Town Resource was created from the foundation built by Lott’s Kids Café, a nonprofit program established in 2019 to provide meals and support services to families across Houston. Through years of community work, Lott’s Kids Café developed strong partnerships with local nonprofits, vendors, and organizations that were all working toward the same goal—helping people in need.

Origins

As these partnerships grew, so did the resources being shared. Food donations, household goods, furniture access, and valuable community information began flowing through the network. Recognizing the opportunity to organize and expand these efforts, H-Town Resource was created as a dedicated redistribution center designed to collect, manage, and distribute these resources more efficiently.

Growing Partnerships

Today, H-Town Resource builds on the relationships and trust established through Lott’s Kids Café by coordinating furniture bank visits, food services through H-Town Café, and home essentials through the H-Town Store. What began as partnerships formed through community meal service has grown into a structured system focused on delivering essential resources directly to families throughout Houston.
